These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of ResumePro ("we," "our," "us," or the "Service"), an AI-powered resume customization platform operated by Spirit Arabia Ventures F.Z.E., a company registered in the United Arab Emirates. By accessing or using ResumePro, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

ResumePro is an AI-powered platform that helps job seekers customize, build, score, and improve their resumes for specific job postings. The Service includes:

• AI Resume Customization (subscription-based)
• AI Resume Builder (one-time purchase)
• AI Resume Sharpener (included with plans)
• AI Cover Letter Generator (one-time purchase)
• AI Interview Prep Guide (one-time purchase)
• AI Candidate Comparison for recruiters (one-time purchase)
• Chrome browser extension for LinkedIn, Indeed, and Naukri

The Service is available as a web application at www.resumepro.win and as a Chrome extension.

2. Account Terms

• You must sign in using Google OAuth. No email/password accounts are supported.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.
• One account per person. Shared or automated accounts are not permitted.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the Service to generate fraudulent or misleading resumes
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or security measures
• Share, resell, or redistribute your account access
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service programmatically
• Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or violates third-party rights
• Interfere with the Service's infrastructure or other users' access

4. Intellectual Property

• Your content: You retain full ownership of your resume content, job descriptions you provide, and any documents you upload. We do not claim any ownership over your data.
• AI-generated output: Customized resumes, cover letters, and other AI-generated documents are derived from your original content. You own the output and may use it for any lawful purpose.
• Our platform: The ResumePro platform, branding, software, and design are the intellectual property of Spirit Arabia Ventures F.Z.E. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

5. Payment Terms

ResumePro offers both subscription plans and one-time purchases:

• Subscriptions: Billed monthly. Prices are displayed at checkout in USD (via Stripe) or INR (via Razorpay). Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.
• One-time purchases: Charged once at the time of purchase. Access is granted immediately upon successful payment.
• Currency: International payments are processed in USD via Stripe. Indian payments are processed in INR via Razorpay.
• Taxes: Prices may be subject to applicable taxes based on your jurisdiction. Any applicable taxes will be added at checkout.
• Failed payments: If a subscription payment fails, access to paid features may be restricted until payment is resolved.

6. Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard.
• Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
• No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.

7. Data and Privacy

• Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• Resume data and generated documents are stored securely and auto-deleted after 7 days.
• Personal data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption.
• We do not sell your data or use it to train AI models.

8. AI Disclaimer

ResumePro uses AI (Claude by Anthropic) to generate and customize content. While we implement strict anti-hallucination measures:

• AI output may occasionally contain errors or imprecise phrasing.
• You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before submitting it to employers.
• We do not guarantee that using ResumePro will result in job interviews or employment.
• The AI only restructures and rewrites content from YOUR resume — it does not fabricate experience.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
• Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not responsible for job application outcomes, hiring decisions, or any consequences of using AI-generated content.

10. Service Availability

• We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
• We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or security reasons.
• Third-party service disruptions (AI provider, payment processor, hosting) may affect availability.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users via email or in-app notification.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, specifically the regulations applicable to the free zone in which Spirit Arabia Ventures F.Z.E. is registered. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts in the UAE.
